Mulching Time! Now it's Springtime!

Today, April 16th we had a freeze. We'll have another one tonight, too, sadly. Spring is really screaming to start... so we thought we'd help it out.

Last week we hired a great guy named Fernando to mulch and prep  the yard for the springtime. It's so much easier to hire someone whose not only good, but brings 3 other hardworking guys.

Look! ONE FLOWER!! Spring?!?

On April 7, the high temperature in central Maryland was only around 48 Fahrenheit (okay, so it crept up to 51F for an hour, big deal), so it still felt like February in early April. Despite the colder than normal temperatures, there's something about a newly mulched yard that makes it feel like spring!

Today, April 16, temperatures will also only top out at 48F for an hour, with wind chills in the 30s all day long. Tomorrow, in the low 50s (big deal). However, the weekend promises to warm into the low 60s, closer to where we should be this time of year.
