Quebec Trip #6: Ghost Walk Pt3: Double Murder and Ghostly Orb Photo

Two ghostly orbs appeared in the courtyard of the old seminary
An orb is the most simple form a ghost can take. It's a round ball of light that has colors and designs in it. When we were on the Quebec Ghost Walk, we stopped at the Old Quebec Seminary.

ABOUT THE OLD QUEBEC SEMINARY - The historical site of the Séminaire de Québec in Old Quebec includes a vast number of buildings, some of which date back to the 17th century and are witnesses of the French occupation, while the others were constructed anywhere from the 18th to the 20th century.

MODERN DAY USE OF THE SEMINARY - since 1987 the Petit Séminaire de Québec is a private Roman Catholic secondary school separated from the Séminaire de Québec. Many French-Canadian clergy of the 18th and 19th century, as well as innumerable academics, went through the Petit Séminaire before higher education became widely accessible. Until 1970, the Superior of the Seminary was also the Rector of Laval University which was originally an offshoot of it.

THE GHOST STORY - It was near here that a man named Joseph Golibeau (spelling?) murdered the husbands of his two daughters. He was convicted of killing both his son-in-laws in 1763.

THE ORBS ON FILM!  - After we got home we looked at the photos taken in the courtyard of the old seminary and there were two orbs!  Each had a bluish color to them and had designs in them. We are not sure who they may be, but one could be a former seminarian who never left while the other could be the ghost of Joseph Golibeau, or perhaps they're the ghosts of Golibeau's two son-in-laws looking for answers about why they were murdered.
