Mom's Visit: Day 3

(PHOTO: Dolly and Franklin looking outside at the drizzle/rainy day)

Today was an overcast and rainy day - all day. So, no dog walking, no outdoor activities... and mom was very slow to get going. Tom took the day off, so he and I were up with the 3 dogs at 6 a.m. and had breakfast. Mom finally came downstairs around 8:30 a.m. for coffee and toast. By then, the dogs had been outside and inside 3 times! :)

Our big adventure out was to drive to Annapolis and get treated to lunch from Tom's parents (Ruth and Bob) at McCormick and Schmidt's restaurant. It's a really classy restaurant, and the food was very good, service was excellent. Afterward, we took a walk through the adjacent Annapolis Mall.
