Tom's Gift: Freeing Dooley the Dog from a Shelter!

Tom's big donation helped Free Dooley!
We are connected to countless shelters and dog rescues on Facebook and this year, Tom gave me (Rob) one of the greatest Christmas gifts ever. He made a big enough donation to the Paws and Claws Rescue to get a Tennessee Brown Dog named Dooley out of a Tipton County Shelter in Munford, Tennessee and into a foster home!!
This sweet boy got his freedom ride yesterday after being in the shelter 87 days.
Paws and Claws depends on donations to get dogs out of kill shelters and needs money for their medical care.
PLEASE consider donating to help save lives.

Here's the original posting where Tom learned of Dooley:
Meet Dooley!!  Dooley is another of our amazingly fabulous “Tennessee Brown Dogs” who is SO deserving of a second chance!  This canine treasure has now been in the Tipton shelter for 87 days.  Our normal protocol is to raise the money needed for an animal’s medical needs before we pull him/her from the shelter, because keeping up with our vet bills is a constant struggle, BUT….several Paws & Claws volunteers were at the shelter today for photos and emotions
just overtook us!  We simply could not leave this dog in the shelter ONE MORE DAY.  We could not let him spend Christmas alone in a cold, metal cage.  So Dooley is now resting comfortably with one of our fabulous foster moms, but we are depending on YOU to support our decision to pull this dog from the shelter today!  We need $250 to cover his vetting costs, and once he is healthy and we have evaluated his personality, we will get him matched up with one of our partner rescue groups.  Please, make a tax-deductible donation today to fund Dooley’s path to a great new life!!

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
