Tonight's Mid-Atlantic Freezing Rain: Kids Suited Up!

Tyler says "Freezing Rain Overnight means a Yucky Monday commute"
It's Sunday, January 11th and temperatures from Philadelphia to Baltimore-Washington DC /Northern Virginia area woke up to temperatures in the low teens.
FORECAST:  Today in ALL of those cities/areas, temperatures will actually rise to the mid-30s today, which is a nice change of pace out of the 20s. However, all of those areas will see FREEZING RAIN overnight and until the morning commute ends tomorrow.   The low temperature is expected to drop to 31 overnight, making roads extremely slick and dangerous for the Monday Morning Commute. **So leave later in the morning (after 9am) or Telework if possible.
  • Tonight Freezing rain likely before 3am, then rain or freezing rain. Low around 31.
  • Monday   freezing rain becoming all rain after 9am (and continuing as rain through the day). High 40.
  • Monday Night A Rain ending, and temperatures falling- so Water will FREEZE on roads overnight. Low.  29
Franklin, Tyler, Dolly and Mopar ready to face the cold.

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
