I heard this story on CBS radio and found this article on CBS News. How cool is this, superhero fans? :)

MILTON, W.Va. (AP/KDKA) — Batman and Captain American came to the rescue when a house in West Virginia caught fire.
Two men clad in the superheroes’ costumes saved a cat from the burning home in Milton.
John Buckland portrays Batman and Troy Marcum portrays Captain America as part of their business. (STORY CONTINUED AFTER VIDEO REPORT):

Media outlets report that they were entertaining children at an event Saturday when they saw smoke coming from the house.
Both men ran to the house. They were joined by Sam Carr, who had just finished a benefit motorcycle ride.
Buckland and Carr kicked in the front door and Montgomery threw a rock through a window to let smoke out. Buckland says he crawled into the front room and felt something furry. He grabbed the cat, ran outside and gave it mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
