Comics News: Batman's Son Damian Murdered

Batman and Robin cover #18
Everyone that knows me (Rob), knows that I'm a huge Superhero fan. In fact, about 30% of my tee shirts and sweatshirts are superhero related. Every Wednesday is new comics day, and I look forward to getting them at night.
Last month, Batman lost his son, Damian Wayne. As comics readers know, superheroes in the comics don't usually stay "dead" - and considering this new "Robin" was hit with readers, it doesn't make sense to kill him off. I'll just have to keep reading to find out what happens.  BTW- for those who are older and remember that Dick Grayson was the original Robin (there have been a couple of others after him, too), he's now the superhero known as "Nightwing" and is a popular character.

Robin (Damian) Bio: Damian was a 10 year old who was born from Batman's rendezvous with Talia Al Ghul, a reknown assassin. Batman was drugged and had an intimate encounter with Talia - and 9 years later, Damian was revealed to Batman.
Damian Wayne as Robin
Created and raised for years without Batman’s knowledge, Damian was taught by his mother and the League of Assassins to become a lethal fighting machine—at 10-years-old, he already far surpasses the skill and ability of many of the DC Universe’s greatest fighters. Upon discovering Damian’s existence, Batman took his son under his wing as the new Robin in order to train him and break him from Talia’s programming, terrified of what the boy could become otherwise.
Although many find Damian incredibly arrogant, his skills, abilities and intelligence do support his superior attitude. However, despite this, under his father’s tutelage, Damian is learning how to better relate to others while constantly struggling with the murderous tendencies instilled in him from a young age.
Although his behavior at times suggests otherwise, Damian desperately wants to become a hero like his father and fights every second to stay on the path of heroism lest his mother’s nature turn him to villainy.
