Rainy Days and Mondays /Local Rainfall

The Carpenters said it best for today "Rainy Days and Mondays (always get me down)." So below is a video treat for you. It's another rainy day here, so Dolly and Franklin are miserable. On Sunday, Franklin the Dachshund got THREE baths because he came in so muddy from the backyard.
RAIN TOTALS VARY - Here's an interesting note about Local Rainfall. This weekend with the double low pressure area dumping rain on the Baltimore/Washington corridor, Baltimore received about DOUBLE the amount of rainfall. Washington, DC's Reagan National Airport received 1.58" of rain, while Baltimore's BWI Airport received 3.71" of rain!

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
