Day 7: Major Home Renovation -Drywall and Covering

Yesterday, August 18th brought some good progress to our window dormer renovation! Our contractors finished installing the drywall on the sides of the dormer. Here's a photo of Dolly, holding her stuffed duck toy (it's a toy, not a taxidermied duck!) while posing for the camera in front of the new drywall.

Meanwhile, on the outside, the contractor put up the covering / insulation / vapor barrier - Tom could tell you exactly what it is, and he's not writing this, so you'll have to go with my explanation. We had some strong thunderstorms last night, and more expected tonight, so this is getting a good workout.
