This Weekend's Home Project: The Garage

Tom is the ultimate neat-freak, and that's a great thing. I've never seen a garage so clean and organized in my life as we have (Thanks to Tom). But, it needed drywall repair, cement floor repair, new paint on the walls, and more. So, because it would take us months of weekends, we hired a great contractor to do it. We'll give you his name if you live in Maryland. He's awesome. Above is the "BEFORE" of the garage. Below is the "IN PROGRESS." It's far from over, but it looks great already. Dolly was inspecting it in the photo. The garage is going to look so clean, I told Tom it will look like a show room!
Because the weekend weather was FINALLY nice, we took a 4 hour round trip drive to Tom's grandma's cemetery in Virginia, and brought his mom. We also took the dogs with us, and stopped for breakfast at Panera Bread, sitting outside with the doggies, who enjoyed the attention of many passers by.
