Spain Trip #35: Granada: Dinner and Unusual Show

You never know what you'll find in Granada, and it's all good. When we were walking
The concert poster
around one evening looking for a place for dinner we stumbled upon a show at the University of Granada, and after staying for a while, found dinner at an outdoor cafe.

THE SHOW- While walking around in Granada around 5 p.m. one evening we suddenly heard cheering and music. As we turned a corner, we found ourselves outside the University of Granada's Modern Language School. We decided to look in, and saw a poster that said "Fiesta Clasura Cursos Primavera." (The Party for the Springtime Class).

A VERY TALENTED DUO
There was a duo with amazing voices called "Blanco y Negro" (White and Black) that featured a white woman and a black man. They were amazing!  They sang a Sarah Brightman song and then the Bruno Mars song, "Uptown Funk You Up!" Everyone was dancing and singing. It was really cool to enjoy that impromptu concert.

GREAT OUTDOOR CAFE DINNER - We had a wonderful and inexpensive dinner at the "Seis Peniques" restaurant at Santa Escolástica, 2 Granada, Spain. The waiter only spoke Spanish, so I (Rob) managed to squeak by with what Spanish I could remember. The meals were fantastic, and Tom enjoyed the wine, too. It was a wonderful and authentic Spanish experience!  (Here's the facebook page to the restaurant: https://www.facebook.com/seispeniquesgr/?rf=113492215387361
