TIP FOR DOG OWNERS: Heartworm Preventative Savings

I have a TIP FOR DOG OWNERS: If you get your Heartworm Preventative at the Vet you're likely overpaying.  - I just checked what I paid on Sept. 13, 2012 at our vet for  Heartgard Plus Chewables for Large Dog 51-100lbs (Brown) (12 chews).
The cost at the Vet was $109.97.
- I went to, and the same exact product was $76.17.
That's a savings of $33.80!!!
SO, when you're ready to give your dog Heartguard Plus I highly recommend getting at - and you'll SAVE a lot.

NOTE: in Northern states you should start in March before the Mosquitoes come out- and give it to them monthly until after the first couple of freezes.  Dogs in the south should get it Year 'Round.

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
