Great Book: "For Bea" - about a former lab dog who was rescued!

I really enjoyed reading the book "For Bea"
about a special beagle named Bea. Its a story about a beagle that the author and her husband found- the dog had escaped somehow from a lab that was using beagles for testing. The story has a great ending though, and is filled with history of the breed and other fun facts. The writer wrote it an an entertaining way. I highly recommend this book for all dog lovers. It will also make you aware of how dogs were (and in some cases still are) used for testing, and the author provides ways you can do something about it at the end. This is a wonderful book!

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
