MAINE TRIP: Jeff & Jose Reception: Day 2: The Ceremony!

Janice, Mit, and Lisa doing readings
Jeff and Jose's ceremony was short but very memorable. I (Rob) was the master of ceremonies, so I led the procession of Lisa, Melissa, Janice, Lisa (Jose's sister), Jose, Jeff and their parents to the trellis where the words and vows were exchanged.

After an introduction, Lisa, Mit, and Janice read lyrics from a Bob Marley song that epitomized what love is all about. Don't ask me the title of the song, I don't remember. They all did a great job and were loud and clear. Lisa Serrano, Jose's sister asked Jeff to take care of Jose and gave him Jose's ring to put on Jose's finger. I (Rob) asked Jeff the same with Jose.

Anthony C. played Jeff and Jose's wedding music theme song on guitar and did an amazing rendition of Cyndi Lauper's "Time after Time." Jon gave a great blessing, and Jose and Jeff exchanged vows again (as they did when they were legally married on June 9th in Washington, D.C.).
Here are some photos from the ceremony (Tom was our photographer):
