
It started with the flowers. They tried to come up in March, but high temperatures remained only in the 40s (about 5-8 degrees colder than they normally are). Now that we've finally had Normal temperatures (mid-50s), the flowers are coming out. These are some daffodils from our front yard.

The flowering trees (Bradford Pear trees) in our neighborhood have also flowered. This is really a welcome sight after such a longer than normal, and colder than normal La Nina winter.
