Cooper In his New Home
PICTURED: Cooper to the left, and Lucy to the right.
We received word from Cooper's new parents, Bob and Arlene, that our foster dog, Cooper the 10 year old wirehaired dachshund is doing very well in his permanent home. Bob and Arlene have a 9 year old wirehaired dachshund named Lucy, who is blind. We introduced Cooper and Lucy a week before.
Bob wrote and said, "The first night and the second day went great. It is quite amazing how they have complemented each other. Lucy likes walks more than she used to - before, her blindness made them pretty stressful. They really are getting along just great." We're glad little Cooper is happy in his new home, but we miss him on our dog walks!
