Post-Adoption Check: 1 year later: Duncan Happy in a Home

1 year later- Duncan happy in a home!
Duncan was a light colored Dachshund who came into Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue in October
of 2014, and caused a lot of drama because he escaped from his foster home. Now, a year later, the rescue has heard from Duncan's adopted family, and his adoptive mom, Jessie said that Duncan's a well-adjusted dog who loves his canine brother.

A YEAR AGO- Duncan ran away from his foster home on Oct. 30. So, Katie had driven to Annapolis, Md. from Richmond, Va. and set traps for Duncan in the wooded area he was last seen around. She posted notices in the neighborhoods on local Craigslist pages and sent notices to rescues and shelters. On November 3, Duncan was found.

Katie then took Duncan with her and she fostered him, knowing that he was skittish with people. She comforted him, trained him and got him ready for adoption.

Here's the story of his escape and capture a year ago: http://rob-tom-dolly-franklin.blogspot.com/2013/11/adventures-of-runaway-foster-dog.html
