Doggone it... it's cold out there!

Add caption
Winter-time is no fun anyone and it means putting on clothes, even for the dogs- because Weimaraners and Dachshunds are short-haired and get cold. YES, dogs get cold outside when temperatures are in the 40s or below. That's why dogs shouldn't be left outside all day when temperatures dip below that.
Here's a pic of Franklin, Dolly and Sprite ready to go outside today, and a pic of Tom walking the two dachshunds this past weekend. We twist their leashes together so they pull each other!

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
