GEORGIA
COMPANIES DENOUNCE VOTER SUPPRESSION Coca-Cola and Home
Depot, both based in Georgia, have voiced opposition to Republican-led efforts
to restrict access to voting in the state. The corporate firepower boosts

for racial and low-income minority areas. [HuffPost]

Republicans remain steadfastly hesitant to take a coronavirus vaccine, with a new poll showing that 42% say they will probably or definitely not get the shot, compared with 17% of Democrats. The vaccination campaign could falter if it becomes another litmus test in America's culture wars.
IDIOTS- Fox News personalities are sowing doubts and ex-President Donald Trump has failed to endorse the shot, even though he was secretly vaccinated.
MILITARY
ISN’T STANDING FOR CARLSON’S HATEFUL COMMENTS
Last week, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson insinuated that the U.S. military is becoming more “feminine” and complained about accommodations for pregnant servicewomen while praising the masculinity of China’s Navy. Many high-ranking members of the U.S. military criticized Carlson’s words, including Gen. Paul Funk, Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott H. Stalker, Maj. Gen. Patrick Donahoe and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who reportedly expressed “revulsion” at the comments.

OF CICADAS MAY BE COMING SOON TO TREES NEAR YOU
This spring marks the return of Brood X, one of
the largest groups of 17-year cicadas in North America. Brood X last appeared
in 2004. Starting sometime in April, the next generation of cicadas will
emerge, filling trees with rasping, buzzy trills across a dozen Eastern and
Midwestern U.S. states.
SIGNS THAT YOUR FEDERAL CONTRACTOR MAY BE A NAZI SYMPATHIZER
Rachel Maddow reports on the DOJ case against an alleged pro-Trump Capitol attacker who was reportedly widely known at his job as a Navy contractor for his white supremacist views, and was even reprimanded for wearing a "Hitler mustache," and yet somehow not only retained his job but retained a security clearance.
