Our Fun Post-New Year's Nighttime Baltimore Lights Walk!

 On Saturday, January 2, we brought the new year in with a fun
night-time walk in Baltimore's Federal Hill neighborhood with our friends Steve and Jane.  They live there and have noted all of the streets where the best holiday light displays were set up. They contacted us before Christmas and we set the date for Jan 2 to avoid any crowds. 
 
   Well, there were not many people out at all on that winter night. In the middle of the 2 hour walk, we stopped at a take out window to a restaurant/bar and we were treated to hot apple cider and hot chocolate to walk around with. The lights were great, the company was great, and so were the drinks. 

In this COVID19 environment, that was likely the best-ever thing we could have done, and it is extremely memorable. I told Tom that this walk through Baltimore's neighborhood lights is going to stand in my mind for the holidays of 2020/2021.  Here are some pictures I took:
