A number of Republican lawmakers have been suggesting that a months-old text message between two FBI
officials reveals a "secret society" of federal law enforcement
officials clandestinely plotting against President Donald Trump.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) alluded to"the term "Secret Society" and said it's a vast "left wing conspiracy" against Trump. IT WAS NOT.
It was sent by FBI lawyer Lisa Page to Peter Strzok, the senior FBI agent with whom she was having an affair and sharing anti-Trump texts.
They learned the text was actually about a Putin "Beefcake Calendar"!
Finally, on January 25th : Johnson backed off his claim of an "informant" even more, conceding it might have been a joke. "It's a real possibility," he told CNN.
2) HAHA Sean Hannity's attempted New York Times takedown did not go well.

2) HAHA Sean Hannity's attempted New York Times takedown did not go well.
Hannity had blasted a New York Times report that said President Donald Trump tried to fire special counsel Robert Mueller last year.
But by the end of his show, Hannity admitted that Fox News had just
confirmed the story. Then, for good measure, he cut to footage of a
police chase and car crash. (Which is appropriate his program because the whole show full of made up stuff is a big car crash)
3) AND THE KICKER_ Trump asked the Guggenheim for a Van Gogh. They gave him
a solid gold toilet instead.
Last year, the President and the First
Lady requested to borrow a painting from the Guggenheim museum for their
private White House quarters. This is not unusual. Presidents often
request pieces from galleries or museums for display during their terms.
The
Kennedys were loaned a painting by Eugene Delacroix, the 19th century
French Romantic master. President Obama was loaned works by modern
abstract artists Mark Rothko and Jasper Johns.
The Trumps requested Vincent van Gogh’s 1888 painting "Landscape With Snow." Fine choice. Can’t argue with the taste.
The Guggenheim turned them down. But it offered an alternative: A gold toilet.
I am not making this up.
“It
is a solid, 18k gold toilet that was installed in one of our public
restrooms for all to use in a wonderful act of generosity," Nancy
Spector, the Guggenheim curator, reportedly wrote. "We would be pleased
to help facilitate…installing it in the White House.”
Spector, the curator, makes no secret of her personal disdain for Trump.
The day after he was elected, she wrote an Instagram post that began,
“This must be the first day of our revolution to take back our beloved
country,” (which sounds oddly like a Trump campaign slogan). Later in
the post she added, “Don’t mourn, organize.”
