Faces of Evil: Gay and Pastor Gary Evans- child molester |
Last October (2017) 72-year-old Garry Evans., now a former pastor of the Rushville Baptist Temple in Rushville, Indiana was arrested after several girls from his church, all under the age of 10, told their parents he had lured them into his office with candy then touched them inappropriately.
Evans was accused of molesting three girls in ages 3 to 7.
BTW- This "Pastor" was also well know for regularly preaching "about the evils of homosexuality" for nearly three decades. Yet he thought molesting children was acceptable. What a sick, SOB and his wife is no better.
On Jan. 31, 2018, the ex-pastor and his wife were arrested again. This time for trespassing. Garry and Gay Evans went residence of a woman looking for a family member that they believed to be inside the home.
The woman then told the two that they were not welcome on the property. The couple reportedly refused to leave and demanded to speak to who they were looking for. The woman then went to retreive a firearm after she felt threatened by the couple. She told the couple to leave again, and had Gay attempt to take the gun away from her.
Following the incident this week, the pastor was again booked into jail without bond. Since then the victim posted on Facebook that she and the suspects own son have gotten numerous threatening phone calls, including from Gay Evans herself. "I just got out of jail. I hope you’re a very happy son. Your daddy is in there and he’s probably going to be staying in there. What is wrong with you? You are sick," said Evans on a voicemail. Police says Gay Evans was verbally abusive and physically resisted officers during her arrest and that resulted in an extra charge of resisting law enforcement being filed.
He later had to be brought to an Indianapolis hospital after attempting to take his own life in November.
A jury trial in the molestation case is scheduled for March 20, 2018.
