Disney Trip Part 8: The Movie Frozen Highlighted in Epcot
Jeff's eating again! This time it's an Italian Scone in Italy. :)
This is the next to last blog about our wacky adventures in Disney over 2 days at the beginning of the month. Since the movie Frozen is one of Disney's biggest movies (and we loved it, too), we thought you should know that there's a new exhibit in the Norway pavilion.
ABOUT THE NORWAY SHOWCASE -
Norway is part of the World Showcase within Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The Norway pavilion resembles a Norwegian village. It includes a Stave church, shops and the Restaurant Akershus, resembles its namesake in Oslo.
ARCHITECTURE - The exhibit showcases 4 styles of Norwegian architecture: Setesdal-style, Bergen-style, Oslo-style and Ålesund-style.
Much of the pavilion is taken up by interconnected shops. These shops are decorated with large wooden trolls and sell assorted Norwegian goods, including clothing, candy, and statuettes of Norse gods and trolls.
It's a troll world after all
FROZEN THE MOVIE- OFFICIAL WEBSITE! - If you're a fan of Frozen, you should know that the film has its own website: http://frozen.disney.com/
