Idiot in the News: Spreading False Info about Vaccinations -Urges People to "'Bring back our Childhood Diseases':

A couple of weeks ago we highlighted idiots of the week as parents who don't vaccinate their children against childhood diseases, and as a result several of them, like measles, have made a deadly return. This week's IDIOT is the wife of a White House Communications, has been spreading false information about vaccinations on Twitter. In today's blog you'll read about the insane lies from this moron, and FACTS about the vaccine the disease.
 Darla Shine, the wife of White House communications director Bill Shine has been spreading false information about vaccinations on her Twitter page, claiming that more people should contract measles, which can be deadly to young children. Darla Shine, a former TV producer and podcaster, falsely claimed Wednesday that sizable measles outbreaks in Washington state and New York are fake.

The UK Daily Mail provided some bullet points about this moron;
  • Darla Shine, wife of White House Communications chief Bill Shine, caused outrage for saying (erroneously) that childhood diseases 'keep you healthy& help fight cancer'
  • She was responding to 'fake news' reports of a measles outbreak in ten states
  • Shine claimed she had measles, mumps and chickenpox as a child and 'now has lifelong natural immunity' and then tweeted 'Come breathe on me!'
  • She said it was 'sad' that her own children received the MMR shot
  • The CDC says 101 confirmed cases of measles have been reported in 10 states
  • While people who contract measles do have a lifelong immunity, the MMR vaccine is 97% effective against the illness when administered in two doses

SOME FACTS AND REACTIONS
