Inside Dormer Done!! / Dogs Happy

Franklin is pretty happy now that the inside work on our three window dormer is completed!!

Dolly and Franklin got very comfortable on their bed once we cleaned up all the construction dust from the room where the new dormer was installed. There was a LOT of construction dust, and after our great contractor and his assistant finished the inside of it today (Saturday), we dusted everything off, vaccuumed, washed the floors and moved everything back.

This is a photo taken early this morning before the paint was applied to the walls of the new dormer. Notice the new flooring was installed.

Here's the brand new room, with all of the furniture (and TV) moved in, and of course, the dog bed. Wow. It's so incredible to be able to see outside from the second floor, looking at the street (and seeing the direction all the storms come from). We are really excited about it. Now work continues on the outside of the dormer.
DOLLY RECOVERING- Dolly is feeling a lot better after a vet visit. She was given metronazidole, and is also on Pepcid twice a day. Her small intestine is producing too much bile (likely from something she ate), and had been giving her serious liquid poo problems. After the first dose of that medication, that all stopped. Wow. She's feeling better, and we are too, knowing she's not as sick as she was this week.
