"How Gullible Are You? Part 1: Dr. Pepper, Big Butts, and Australian Welcome Sign

Here's another blog asking "How Gullible Are You?"  - This is the latest round of stuff people are emailing each other believing these to be true, whether they are or not. What do you think?

1) Dr Pepper Bought by Coca-Cola, to Be Discontinued

An online hoax held that Coca-Cola had bought up rival soda brand Dr Pepper and would be shutting down production of the popular soft drink.

2)  Man Deletes Entire Company with One Line of Code

The hoax was a viral marketing scheme intended to direct traffic to his server management company.

3) Was Ted Cruz's Father Linked to the JFK Assassination?

Digitally altered
Disreputable web site posits a link between Ted Cruz's father and Lee Harvey Oswald based on negligible evidence.

4) 'Welcome to Australia'

A photograph purporting to show an official "Welcome to Australia" sign has been digitally altered.

5) Oxford Butts Study

An Oxford University study that supposedly indicated "big butts make you smarter" was heavily distorted in news reports.

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
