Fun Dog Event with Friends!

On Saturday, we took Dolly and Franklin to a dog event and met our friends Susan and her dog Bentley, Ed (no dog ... yet!) and Amy with her dog Emma. The event was called  the "2010 Parade of Paws Pet Walk" (You can get some deals on dog-related merchandise here: http://www.magdrl.org/shoppingpage5.htm). The Dachshund rescue that we work with was there, which is how we heard about it. Bentley, Dolly and Franklin got to march in a "Parade of Breeds." Then, Susan and Bentley participated in a dog tricks event. It was fun!

It was a fundraising event for various rescues including the Great Dane Rescue, Dachshund Rescue, Aussie Rescue and Bassett Hound Rescue. There were a lot of great vendors there, and we even had Dolly and Franklin's picture drawn by a local artist.  Check him out at http://www.pretzeldogdesign.com/. His name is Chris, and he's REALLY TALENTED!
