Since the pandemic is the center of news around the world as we try to eradicate its spread by sheltering in place, like SMART people, there's a lot of news you may have missed. From the sunniest Scotland to how Air travel has changed during COVID19, a New word of the day, an Arizona Shelter that NEEDS Help, and an actor from Northern Ireland who passed. It's all here.

SUNNIEST APRIL IN SCOTLAND IN OVER 70 YEARS-  -The UK had its sunniest April on record, according to provisional analysis from the Met Office. For Scotland the 204.6 hours of sunshine beat the previous record set in 1942.
(For the record: Annual amounts of sunshine can also vary considerably across Scotland. Parts of the north west can have average annual sunshine totals of between 700 and 1,000 hours, while parts of Angus, Fife, the Lothians, Ayrshire, and Dumfries and Galloway average over 1,400 hours of sunshine per year. Scotland's sunniest city is Dundee.)

EXPERTS PREDICT HOW CORONAVIRUS WILL CHANGE THE WAY WE TRAVEL
“Airlines will take a lot of safety steps ― like removing middle seats ― while flight demand is low,” Airlines may also continue cutting down on in-flight meals and drinks to reduce the possibility of germ transmission, and there’s already more emphasis on cleaning. “This pandemic shined a spotlight on trip insurance,” said Waliszewski. “Nearly every trip insurance product proved to be completely useless for pandemics, so travelers will start paying a lot more attention to the fine print. Trip insurance will get much more expensive, but much more useful and popular.” There will likely be increased interest in the more expensive “cancel for any reason” insurance plans, Waliszewski believes that business travel “will get crushed” thanks to the economic impact and workflow lessons of the pandemic.
