I've read several books by Laurien Berenson in her series "A Melanie Travis Mystery," and have enjoyed them all. "Hair of the Dog" was another fun cozy mystery. This is one of her earlier books (from 1997). It was well-done, and you'll learn a LOT about how people show dogs, because Melanie and her aunt peg show standard poodles. It's an interesting look at the industry, while she figures out a murder, or two! So many suspects. An enjoyable mystery!
