Tyler the terror, our lovable 6 year old, 17 pound black and tan Dachshund, is full of energy and loves to give kisses, but he's a good guard dog, too. Yesterday when he, Dolly and Franklin awoke, Tyler wanted to jump on our bed and give Daddy Tom kisses. I (Rob) bent over to pick him up (as he was jumping) and his head slammed into my right eye.
We're glad Tyler has a hard head, so he was fine. By today, however, my eyelid became black and blue (and yeah, it's a bit tender). So, the next time you think a 17 pound dog can't prove he's tougher than you are, think of Tyler!
