Ben Cohen |
(who has a wife and 2 daughters) was made aware that he had become a gay icon in the U.K., and as a result was made aware of the severe problem of bullying. He learned that many gay people are bullied and commit suicide, so he developed the anti-bullying foundation called "Standup." - Here's what it's all about -
The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation is the world's first
foundation dedicated to raising awareness of the long-term, damaging
effects of bullying by connecting communities and raising funds to
support those doing real-world work to eradicate bullying.
