Read 3 Great Books!
I (Rob) have been busy reading, in between blogging daily, writing my ghost book, taking care of our dogs (and Tom), working, exercising, etc. In the last couple of months I finished reading THREE books, all of which were GREAT.
1) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: THE LAST DOG ON EARTH by Daniel Ehrenhaft - Although written for teens, this is a great book for anyone. Its a science fiction novel about a prion disease that causes dogs to exhibit the symptoms of rabies. The main character is Logan Moore, an angry young man. Logan hates his biological father for abandoning him, his stepfather for trying to control him, and other kids for seeming better than him. It is only when Logan gets a pet dog that he learns to love. In training and working with his dog Jack, Logan learns patience and other virtues.
2) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: MEMORIAL DAY by Vince Flynn - Intel learns that countries harboring terrorists are transferring their stock and bonds into gold while at a top-secret installation a Pakistani terrorist is being interrogated by CIA black ops agent Mitch Rapp. Intel finds out that Al Qaeda is preparing to strike at the United States, making the World Trade Towers destruction seem like a child destroying a toy. Mitch and a group of commandos raid a small Pakistani mountain town where they find proof that Al Qaeda is getting ready to attack America.
2) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: THE GHOST CHRONICLES by Maureen Wood and Ron Kolek - Maureen is a medium who teams with Ron an actual paranormal investigator. These are 17 true cases of hauntings they explored together in New England. Fascinating stuff- especially when a Medium joins ghost hunters. SEE A VIDEO INTERVIEW ON FOX NEWS:
