This weekend was a busy one... as usual. Friday night we went to dinner with friends Susan, Cary and Ed, for a fun time and great conversation. Saturday was a sunny day (which was good, because it was miserable and rainy all day Sunday). So, we got up at 5 a.m. and after feeding and taking care of the dogs, we drove to Walmart for some early morning, pre-Christmas shopping rushers after a drive through breakfast stop at Dunkin' Donuts! We were in and out of Walmart in 45 minutes with all of our groceries- amazing, considering we attempted to go last Saturday and it took 15 minutes to drive alongside the front of the store and couldn't find a parking space (so we left last weekend). Next, we did laundry, cleaning, etc. then took our kids (Dolly the Weimaraner and Franklin the Dachshund) to Crunchies Pet Store for photos with Santa!! (Thanks to Susan, who told us about it on Friday night during dinner). The dogs were extremely well-behaved with Santa. Very patient. The photographer took several pictures, and we paid a little extra to get them emailed to us. Below are the pictures from the photo shoot!
We ended the day by attending a 40th birthday party for our friend Greg, and got to also see other friends: Fitz and Will, Sterling and Joel. It was a really nice time and a great way to catch up to those guys before the holidays.
