Spain Final Blog #67: Sitges: Celebrating with a Fun Dinner!

Tom and Rob say goodbye to Sitges!
This is the final blog about our trip to Spain. We took the trip in May 2018 with a great group of guys on a tour of 5 cities in a group of 9. The tour was hosted by the group Detours out of Vancouver, Canada and led by our guide, Dan Clarke. Dan was fantastic, as was the entire trip. We treasure the memories and the friends we made. In fact, one of them is visiting us later this month.

In today's blog, we'll tell you about one of our favorite restaurants in Sitges (we ate dinner there the two nights we were there). On the last night in Sitges we were joined by our new friend Gary, whom was in the group. He introduced Tom to Gin and Tonics and together they enjoyed them on our final, celebratory dinner!

A GREAT RESTAURANT - We found a restaurant called the "Taj Mahal" near the beach and wound up eating there twice. It had great food. We had American food, although it was an Indian restaurant. On the last night in the town, Gary joined us for an early dinner at 6 pm.  Tom and Gary said the drinks were good!

A FINAL GATHERING - After we ate dinner, we met the rest of the group at another restaurant.to say our goodbyes to everyone.  The group dinners were always around 8 p,m. and we always wanted to eat earlier, so we did and joined them afterward.

The Taj Mahal was hidden on a side street, and worth it!
Overall it was a great trip. Spain is a wonderful country with so much to see and do! You need to visit!  Of course, any country that has Dunkin' Donuts is a country I would visit! - Rob

We hope you have enjoyed visiting Spain with us!
