A great comics trade paperback: Green Lantern Vol. 3: "The End"

I love the Green Lantern (DC Comics superhero). For several years I've gone to the Baltimore ComicCon dressed
up as Hal Jordan's Green Lantern. So, when I got for a gift the graphic novel "Green Lantern Vol. 3: "The End" Paperback, I read it and really enjoyed it.
It features several great Green Lanterns (they're an intergalactic police-like group powered by green power rings that make constructs that they envision in their mind to combat evil anywhere in the cosmos)  that include Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Sinestro, Kyle Rayner and introduces the new muslim Green Lantern, Simon Baz (a great character)!

SUMMARY: Comics' hottest writer Geoff Johns continues his historic run on one of the best-selling titles of DC Comics The New 52, GREEN LANTERN!  The universe is in shambles and the Guardians are the cause. Their mysterious Third Army has risen across the cosmos like a plague, destroying everything in its path and Hal Jordan and Sinestro are nowhere to be found. It is up to wrongfuly accused Simon Baz to clear his name and become the hero that the Corps needs in order to get to the bottom of Hal and Sinestro's disapperance and the Rise of the Third Army!  This volume collects Green Lantern #13-20, 0.

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
