Dog Expo Adventures

A couple of weekends ago I (Rob) went to the Baltimore Dog Expo with our friend Susan, and I brought our Weimaraner, Dolly. I figured our Dachshunds were too small and would get stepped on- Dolly held her own and stayed very close to me the entire 3 hours. There were hundreds of vendors there, and I bought a new harness for Dolly and treats for all our kids. One of our favorite rescues (that we work with and support) was there: COAST-TO-COAST DACHSHUND RESCUE ( http://www.c2cdr.org/)!   There was so much to see, and the crowd was huge!  I also found a great dog toy box, made by a Pennsylvania store - and our dogs quickly learned how to use it.
- There were also agility trials, and Susan and I watched several of them. The dogs that do them are amazing. Susan and her hubby Cary have 3 Shelties, and two of them are great at agility (the other one's specialty is eating- just like our dachshunds.).
