Worked EXPLORE@NASA

Skies were gray but rain-free for the Explore@NASA Goddard event on May 14. Thousands of visitors toured Goddard's facilities, met with astronauts, and participated in dozens of activities, demonstrations and exhibits.
I worked the event from 7am, to 2pm today and it was quite WET during the morning.
I greeted Astronaut Scott Altman (a very nice guy). BIO: http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/altman.html
I also got to escort a reporter around the entire NASA event for 2 hours... where I took these photos.
-My thanks to Ken, Jill, Matt, Will, Katie & Calina for coming to the event. You're all wonderful, and I wish I got to spend more time with you- but it wasn't possible while escorting the reporter.
We hope you had a blast exploring the universe at our open house event at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. More than 15,000 guests attended, meeting with astronauts, watching science demonstrations, listening to great music, and learning about Earth, the solar system and our place in the universe.
