Fun Lunch and Fort McHenry
Here's another event we've been planning for some time. We met our friends Steve and Jane, Lyle and Jennie for a great lunch in Federal Hill, Baltimore. We then walked around Fort McHenry and enjoyed the new visitor's center there. A must visit place where the Star Spangled Banner was written (well, it was written by Francis Scott Key in the Baltimore Harbor after seeing the American Flag raised at the fort after all the British and American shelling ended).
