Target Stores Supporting Right-Wing Extremist - No more shopping there

Target Stores gave a candidate running for Governor in Minnesota $150,000 recently. That wouldn't be a problem, however, because Target stores have participated in gay pride parades and sold the gay community on shopping there the candidate they now support is an anti-gay extremist who wants to do away with all gay rights. It makes no sense! We're done shopping there until changes are made
But Target CEO Gregg Steinhafel hasn't promised that the company will stop intervening in elections. He emailed Target employees and defended the donation as focused on "business objectives"—and, later, pledged to set up a "review process" for future donations. LINKS TO ARTICLES ABOUT IT ARE BELOW.

VIDEO BELOW: A woman who has a gay son went to her local Target to protest respectfully—and the resulting video racked up over 200,000 views on YouTube.4 Target was forced to set up a special phone line to handle the volume of customers' phone calls.

Gift/Memorial Suggestions

Several of our friends have lost loved ones (human and pets) and we found that one of the best ways to honor their memory is to give to an animal charity.
What better way to recognize a life of love, than by giving another life a chance for love?
We donate to many animal rescues, but because we volunteer with
DC Weimaraner Rescue and Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue, those are our 2 favorites.
Consider giving the chance of life to a dog or cat.
