Part 2: A Meeting of 4 Minds and Mediums

Our friend Ruthie Larkin, the Beantown Medium (www.beantownmedium.com) stayed with us an
 extra day after her big meeting with four families who each lost a teenage son last year. On her second day, we invited some friends who share medium-like abilities to come over in the afternoon for lunch and some medium-stuff, like meditations.

   Tom and I had the day off of course, and we were joined by Troy C. and Kyle MacQ. Like us, Troy is a member of the Inspired Ghost Tracking Team, and he's also a pretty amazing medium. We recently befriended Kyle, whom I met during a presentation about ghosts/spirits at a UMBC class. Kyle also has an amazing intuitive gift, and we took him on a ghost investigation with IGT to an historic house, where he confirmed the messages that we also got.

MEDITATIONS ARE INTERESTING - 
  Ruthie led us in a guided meditation, and if you've never done one, you should. If you're missing someone that passed away, it can really help get in touch with them. Ruthie had us picture a beach, and then a ship on the horizon. Someone from the ship got into a rowboat and came to shore. That would be someone who passed. That person is up to you, of course, as is what happens next.

During the meditation I encountered my mom and dad, who didn't say anything to me, but we just all walked down a beach and were happy. I also tuned in to a visitor for Tom, too.

IT'S ALL ABOUT PERCEPTION -   What's interesting is how everyone perceives things.  Ruthie mentioned in the beginning that we had to ascend 10 stairs on the beach from the sand. So, while some were picturing wooden stairs to a parking lot, or twisting cement stairs, I pictured ascending 10 steps up to a lifeguard platform. Inside the platform was the hot actor, Chris Evans, acting as a lifeguard. I think my meditation was the most exciting. LOL
 

Part 1: A Meeting of Minds and Mediums

On April 10 and 11, we took the day off to welcome our friend and medium, Ruthie Larkin - who came to visit 4 families, each of whom lost a teenager in a car accident one year a
go in eastern Maryland. I (Rob) got to go with Ruthie and meet the families, and provided a background on how mediumship works, and how spirits send signs and messages.

RUTHIE'S IMMEDIATE CONNECTIONS - Ruthie really is amazing. She told me on the way over that someone's mother died in the last year or two (one of the teenage boys' grandmothers)  and that one of the boys is with her. She gave other details, too. Once in the house, she walked up to a young woman and asked if she was a sister. She nodded "yes." Ruthie said that her brother's spirit told her that she got a tattoo in her honor (the girl was wearing long sleeves and didn't have any visible tattoos). She rolled up her sleeve and showed Ruthie a big tattoo in her brother's memory.Ruthie stayed the rest of the day and met with each family member and provided a lot more amazing signs and confirmations!

A persistent Robin visits

  During Ruthie's opening, I got some messages that were confirmed.One was about robins, one was about airplanes.

ROBINS - MORE THAN A SIGN OF SPRING -  Two of the teenage boys' spirits told that their parents were sent Robins who lingered around them for days. That was a sign from them that they're both still around they're families.  
   NOTE: Spirits will send birds, insects or small animals to people to let them know they're around. It's just not a matter of a bird coming, but lingering and returning over and over, which is what happened here. 
  While I was giving my introduction, I mentioned this and two different parents acknowledged they each had a Robin around them. One father said that a Robin has been returning to his window over and over. Another father and mother said that a Robin has been around their lawn - the same one, over and over in a certain spot (not in a tree).

AIRPLANES - One of the teenage boys also showed me visions of planes flying overhead and coming in for a landing. He "told" me that he loved watching planes and was fascinated by them. I clearly saw the underside of a  plane landing. He told me to tell his parents "whenever a plane flies overhead, I'm standing with you." His dad disappeared for a minute and returned with a photo of he and his son in front of a Navy fighter jet and told me his son loved airplanes.
   - It's simple messages that help identify a spirit and let others know that they're around.

Attended Medium Event with Barb Mallon

This weekend Tom and I attended Barb Mallon's medium event in northern Virginia. I (Rob) acted as an MC for her so she could relax and tune in beforehand. Anyone that knows Barb knows that she's a bundle of energy and that energy came through in many readings for people in the full-house audience that night. People were captivated by the messages she received.
  One spirit that came through was that of a man named John, who rode a motorcycle. Barb knew exactly which person John was connected to - and identified the man. Although a few others in the room kept thinking it was their "John" it turned out not to be when Barb gave more information. One piece of info that blew everyone away was when Barb said to the man in the audience, "Did you just get a new tattoo? John is telling me to ask about your tattoo and why it's special to him."  The man responded that he DID just get a new tattoo on his arm, and that it said "R.I.P. John" and the tattoo artist reproduced the late John's signature in the middle of the tattoo.   WOW.

   When you're in a large audience, there tends to be a number of people who can identify with what the medium is saying- but when people in Barb's audience kept
trying "to make something fit," Barb insisted that they don't do that. She said "if it's right, it's right, no need to try an make something fit."
 - The mother of one woman also came through who loved to bake breads. Barb said she kept smelling baked breads. The mother's spirit insisted that her daughter (who was in the audience) needs to address the circulatory issues she is having with her feet, and the daughter was astounded! The spirit mother also said that her living daughter needed to take care of herself instead of others. There was a lot of agreement from her friends in the room at that time.
