RELEASE: 25-07                                                                         January 1, 2026

New Book "Haunting of Hunt Memorial Library” Uncovers Ghostly Secrets

NASHUA, NH – The #1 selling authors of "Haunting of Emery Estate" announce their follow-up true-paranormal book, “Haunting of Hunt Memorial Library,” publishing on January 1, 2026. Together with other paranormal professionals and members of the public they uncovered a haunted secret love, illicit trysts, a ghostly teenage accident victim and haunted paintings. When reading this, you’ll feel like you’re on the paranormal investigation!

Rob Gutro, author, renowned pet medium and paranormal investigator joined Monique Toosoon, New England’s paranormal drag queen and para-technology wizard with a sensitivity to earthbound ghosts conducted a 3-hour public paranormal investigation that uncovered secrets of three ghosts in an historic building in Nashua, New Hampshire.

The team encountered three ghosts who chose the building as their residence: a century old rebellious teenager, a lost lover and another who wanted to keep his past indiscretions secret. After the initial investigation, Monique and Rob had to return to uncover the secret of the third-floor ghost with a secret past.

“Monique is one of the most talented investigators and a technical wizard,” Gutro said. “She knows how to operate countless pieces of equipment from a Phasma Box to EMF trip wire. Various pieces of equipment were used to confirm medium impressions and provide answers that unlocked the secret past of the ghosts!”

The Hunt Memorial Building was a former library location for the City of Nashua, New Hampshire. Today, the building is used for events.

The book walks you through the investigation from the beginning to the end, as the investigators and members of the public try to piece together the identities, stories, and reasons why the ghosts remained behind. There were also several emotional imprint hauntings in the building, too.
“One surprise happened when I connected with one of the public investigator’s friends in spirit who passed in a recent accident,” Gutro said.

“Haunting of Hunt Memorial Library” is Gutro’s fourteenth true paranormal book. He has four series of true paranormal best-selling books: "Pets and the Afterlife," "Ghosts on a Medium’s Vacation,” “Ghosts versus Spirits,” and the “Haunting Of” series of which this new book is a part. He is the first in the paranormal field to make the distinction between earthbound ghosts and spirits who have crossed over. Rob has encountered ghosts everywhere he has traveled. He has crossed many ghosts over and is known for sketching them.

Monique Toosoon is a captivating force in the world of drag and paranormal exploration. With a career spanning 2 decades and named New Hampshire's “Ghostess with the Mostest,” she was crowned Best Local Entertainer for four years. Monique's ascent knows no bounds, from sold-out extravaganzas across New England to riveting appearances on esteemed paranormal showcases like Dark Echoes Paranormal Show and Ghost Finders. LISTEN! New Podcast- Part 2 of 2: the Grave Talks Haunting of Emery Estate!

Carol, the host of the Grave Talks podcast welcomed back Rob and Monique to talk about their first collaborative True Paranormal Book! This is PART 2 of a 2 Part podcast
In their new book, “Haunting of Emery Estate,” Rob Gutro and Monique Toosoon recount their paranormal investigation at the notorious Emery Estate. What began as a routine ghost hunt soon spiraled into an unsettling experience when they encountered not one but three spirits – a young boy whose presence was both haunting and heartbreaking. The second spirit seemed mysteriously bound to an object, its energy tied to something from the past. But it’s the third entity that truly raised the stakes—a dark, troubling presence that seemed to leave an air of fear and unease in its wake.

In my book "Ghosts of England on a Medium's Vacation" by Rob Gutro one of the chapters covered my visit to Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace. I encountered a number of ghosts there, including the screaming queen who ran right through me. But one of the docents there had his own encounter with a ghost. In this short video, I asked Stewart to tell of his encounter (You'll find it in my book, too).

Q&A Margaret Ehrlich, Inspired Ghost Tracking

As a medium on Inspired Ghost Tracking, I had a Q&A with our group's founder, Margaret Ehrlich.

Q:- What is Inspired Ghost Tracking and how did you get involved in the paranormal?

Since I was a child and lived in a haunted house, I have had questions about whether the paranormal and ghosts were real. As a girl I lived with my family in an old yellow house that made me very curious about what was out there. (You can read about that experience in Chapter 2 of the book “Case Files of Inspired Ghost Tracking” by Rob Gutro.)

.Years later, after my youngest daughter left for college, I found myself alone and wanting to do something about my interests in the paranormal. So, I decided to form a paranormal group. That is how Inspired Ghost Tracking or IGT got started. Since I started the group in 2008 as a beginner in the field, I have learned much throughout the years. In my opinion and experiences, ghosts do exists and sometimes they need our help to cross them over.

(Photo: Core group of Inspired Ghost Tracking investigators in Dec. 2023.Credit: M.E.)

Q: What do you learn from each paranormal investigation?

Each investigation is different and on each one we learned something from the ghosts with whom we communicated.

Most importantly, IGT members were able to determine why some people who passed chose to stay behind as earthbound ghosts. Upon learning those reasons, we were able to cross them over and bring them the long-awaited peace they longed for, and we brought peace to the living people where the ghosts had dwelled and disrupted their lives. Those families that once dealt with paranormal problems were finally able to live in ghost-free environments and enjoy their homes.

Q: At one time, Inspired Ghost Tracking Led Ghost Tours at a Maryland Mansion and also in Federal Hill. Tell us about Federal Hill.

After a Halloween open house at Scarborough Fair B&B a couple of years ago, I met owner Barry Werner and, along with other guests like medium Rob Gutro, we shared our experiences. A few months later, Barry and I began ghost tours with the help of Rob and Ronda Dixon, IGT historian.

It was a walking tour through the ages around Federal Hill delving into the past with tales of murder, mystery and legend. Inspired Ghost Tracking revealed the techniques and science behind ghost hunting through the historic streets of the neighborhood just two blocks from the Inner Harbor, with owners of the local taverns, shops, and restaurants as they discuss the legends and spirits connected with the area. You can take the tour on your own by reading the Chapter of Haunted Federal Hill - in the book "Case Files of Inspired Ghost Tracking" by Rob Gutro

(Photo: IGT Mediums Troy Cline and Rob Gutro. Credit: R.G.)

Q: With interest in the paranormal increasingly popular, how often do you conduct public and private investigations?

Our core group does private investigations whenever we are contacted. This could be two or three per month or maybe just one every couple of months. We've also done public site investigations like Patapsco Female Institute, Fort McHenry, Dr. Mudd’s house, or Westminster Burial Ground. Private would be someone calling us about their home or business.

Q:- If you had to pick one, what is the spookiest place to visit in Baltimore?

I think it would be hard to pick just one as Baltimore has lots of places to visit that are haunted or spooky, including Poe's grave, Westminster Catacombs, Fort McHenry, USS Constellation, Federal Hill, and Fell’s Point. If I had to pick just one I think I would pick Westminster Catacombs as I had a personal experience there hearing the organ playing one night when nobody was in the church.

(Photo: the Patapsco Female Institute. Credit: M.E.)

Q:- What are some of the most bizarre things you’ve seen in your years of investigating?

We went to Patapsco Female Institute and I got a picture of an apparition that others saw on my camera. When getting home the apparition was gone. Some of the voice recordings that we get are very bizarre, as is knowing that they can answer us. But I think the biggest one is a picture Ronda caught of an apparition at Dr. Mudd’s house.

Q: How can Maryland visitors get involved and explore Baltimore’s haunted heritage?

There are many ways for them to get involved and explore Baltimore’s haunted heritage through some of the ghost tours around, getting involved in a ghost group, or just exploring on their own.

Q: How Can People Learn about Paranormal investigations and haunted places in Maryland?

Read about our investigations in the book "Case Files of Inspired Ghost Tracking" by Rob Gutro

Q: Are there a couple of cases in the book "Case Files of Inspired Ghost Tracking" that you find the most interesting?

Considering the book is about our case files, it is hard to pick just one they are all interesting enough for us to add them to a book.

Quebec Trip #8: Ghost Walk Pt5: Church Shadow Ghost Seen by Queen Elizabeth

Inside the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity
Today's blog is about our last stop on the Old Quebec City ghost walk, and today you'll learn about a ghost seen by Queen Elizabeth in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. This church is said to be the most haunted place along the ghost tour. For some reason, the month of November is also known to be the most active, "paranormally" speaking. There's also a special, odd "chair" here.

The balcony where the Queen saw the shadow figure
WHAT IS THE CATHEDRAL? - The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is the cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Quebec and home to two parishes: the Parish of Quebec and la Paroisse de Tous les Saints. It's located at 31 Rue des Jardins, Ville de Québec, QC G1R 4L6, Canada. According to Quebecregion.com, "The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is the first Anglican cathedral built outside the British Isles. Nestled in the heart of Old Québec, it is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Québec City. While it was under construction between 1800 and 1804, King George III ordered an exceptional silver communion service for the new Cathedral that remains one of the finest examples of Georgian silver ever made. The chamber organ in this house of worship is an instrument of exceptional craftsmanship."
Cathedral of the Holy Trinity

WHY WAS QUEEN ELIZABETH THERE? Since the church was a gift from England, there's a special bench for the royals on the left balcony, marked by a royal seal.  In addition to Queen Elizabeth visiting, William and Kate also visited.

Shadow figure
THE GHOST STORIES - 1) Queen Elizabeth reportedly saw a shadow figure on the balcony on the other side of the church from the Royal box! 2) The organist has repeatedly felt chills 3) Doors open and close mysteriously by themselves and 4) people hear footsteps when no one else is around.

Bishop's Chair
Regardless, there's some ghost or ghosts haunting the church.
WHY COULD THIS BE HAUNTED? - Our guide told us that the ghost may in fact be related to a young woman who murdered her infant and buried the child underneath the organ. Of course, that can't be substantiated, and it's horrifying and gross, so we're thinking it's untrue.

THE ODD CHAIR - The Bishop's chair was actually carved from a tree that was struck by lightning!

This entry concludes the ghost tour. In the next blog we'll meet 2 cool animals, and begin the walking history tour of Old Quebec!

NEXT: Meet the Church's Famous Donkey and Goat!
