Remembering Buzz - His Mission of Healing Began Today

Today marks 21 years ago that my dog Buzz was tragically killed by a car, and the day he began teaching me how pets communicate from the afterlife. It turned out that was his mission - to help me bring healing to many grieving pet parents around the world. That's who and what today's Blog is about.

Since then, I've written an entire series of books, and have given lectures, helping to teach pet parents how their pets communicate from the afterlife. I've also recognized signs from our 6 dogs in spirit and they have their own chapters in the books. So, although a tragic anniversary it was this day, Buzz helped me start bringing healing around the world.

One of the things it took me a while to learn was about "Angel numbers." Those are numbers that spirits give us to tell us they are around. Buzz's angel number is 222 because of the date he passed, and I see it often. Watch for your pet's angel number.

Valentine's Day and Spirit Signs

 What better occasion than Valentine's day for a loved one to give you a sign they are still connected? Today's blog will give you a few ideas what to look for from your loved ones. 

Learn how to recognize the signs from spirits, whether people or pets through books from Rob Gutro.

If you're looking for signs from people, they could range from their favorite flowers, to hearing their name mentioned or a song that reminds you of them. 

You can learn how to spot those signs by reading Rob's books that include: Kindred Spirits, Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead, or Ghosts and Spirits Explained.

If you're looking for signs from precious pets that have passed, you'll find them in the "Pets and the Afterlife" series of books.

Those signs could be like a gentle touch of a dog's nose on your thigh, or a tickle from a cat's tail in spirit. There are so many ways your pets can give you signs from the  other side... and watch your living pets, because they can see and hear them! 

Just remember that whenever you are thinking of your loved one who passed, they can hear your thoughts and acknowledge it by letting us know they are always connected us through the powerful emotional energy of love.

Today, Dec. 23rd would have been Sprite’s Birthday!

Our 16 1/2 year old dachshund was born on December 23, 1996 and passed away on July 8, 2013. Sprite was a funny little guy, who liked to keep to himself and didn't play with toys. Today's Blog is about ways we've honored him - from sharing his story, to putting him on a book cover, and giving him a special Christmas tree.

Sprite came to us from a rescue on December 4, 2010 just shy of his 14th birthday. We picked up Sprite in Frederick, Md from a rescue transporter on December 10th, 2010, who drove him from Ohio. He came from a home where one parent passed, and the other went into assisted living. While fostering him, Sprite needed several surgeries and had 22 rotted teeth removed. We adopted Sprite in April 2011 when we learned of his heart murmur.

Sprite loved our Weimaraner, Dolly, and Dachshunds, Franklin and Tyler (also now in spirit with him).

To honor Sprite, back in 2013 we bought a small counter-top-Sprite-Sized tree and decorations. We topped the tree with a butterfly because after Sprite passed we saw yellow and black butterflies following us and our other dogs around. Even friends who read about Sprite's story were followed around or visited by yellow and black butterflies - so that's his sign.
