I DISCOVERED CLIFF AS A TEEN - I discovered Cliff in 1976 with his hits "Devil Woman," "We Don't Talk Anymore," "Little in Love," and "Suddenly" (duet with Olivia Newton-John). Of course when I was 17, I had a BIG Crush on Cliff. He's so incredibly handsome. In fact, I had a big poster of him over my bed then.AMAZING CONCERT - In 2013, he gave a concert at Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace and we planned a trip around it- and it was AWESOME. Truly one of the best concerts I've ever attended. I love all of his music going back to the 50s to present day. He's still recording (he did an album recently called Cliff with Strings.
IN 2010 at 70, he issued a calendar- and he looks AMAZING. Just look at this picture. He's always been fit.(Photo: Cliff Richard looks toned in photos for his 2010 calendar.)
STILL TOURING! He's going to be 85 on October 14th which is 3 days before my birthday - so I knew he's a great guy. And he's got another coming: Sir Cliff Richard's new album, Rise Up, is expected to be released later in 2025. Richard has also announced a UK tour in 2025 called the Can't Stop Me Now tour.
ABOUT THE BOOK: Sir Cliff Richard OBE is the biggest-selling artist of all time, selling over 250 million records around the world since he burst onto the music scene in 1958. But how has he kept his appeal all these years? In a world fuelled by drink, sex and drugs, he is perennially attractive without any of those things that keep other singers' profiles high. Now, working with the highly acclaimed biographer and journalist, Penny Junor, Cliff talks freely and frankly about what it is like to be Cliff. Inspirational, hugely talented, a much-loved household name, his story is extraordinary. Packed with hitherto unseen pictures and untold stories, and a host of unique visual memories, it is a book to read and treasure for the next fifty years.
