During the first week of Maryland's restrictions because of the COVID19 virus pandemic, Tom decided that the brick-facing kitchen wall would look better in a lighter color. So, he started painting it at night.
We finished on Saturday afternoon last week. It took about 3 1/2 hours. The hardest part was painting in the tiny crevices between the bricks. Sometimes we used a small paintbrush, and other times we used a q-tip. It was quite challenging.
The brick face went from a brownish color to white, and we think the new white color makes the kitchen appear much larger... Certainly much brighter!
There are upsides to staying put.
