Tom and Will Build a Dog Support for the Truck!

 Whenever we take our 3 dogs for a ride, we always take the pick up truck, and they sit in the cab. For the last 8 years, we've filled the gap between the back seats and the front seats (where people put their feet) with pillows, then topped it off with a big comforter for the dogs to lay on. 
  Tom has been scheming and planning to do away with those stacks of pillows and make it more neat and orderly, so he came up with the idea to build a platform. This weekend, after going to Lowes Hardware he did just that with the help of our friend Will (who can build anything, too). Tom and Will worked together for over one hour to create a wooden platform that will support the three dogs, topped with a comforter.

   I'm so proud of my husband. He can do anything. All I can do is write about what he builds and designs!   Anyway, that was the best-ever Valentine's Day present ever (even if he thinks it's not for Valentine's Day, I think it is- it was a labor of love). 
   Tom wants to finish it by putting carpet tiles on it, and edging the perimeter. There is nothing that Tom can't design that he and Will can't build.
