Franklin: "Sure do like those Christmas Cookies"

Three Dog Bakery Cookies

Franklin Begging for Forgiveness
Our Christmas tree is up and decorated, and we've wrapped presents and put them around the tree. One of the presents was "Three Dog Bakery's" "Lick and Crunch" cookies for dogs. Our dogs love them.
- Well, we thought that the plastic packaging would be enough to keep the scent from the dogs, but we were wrong.
Our 6 year old Dachshund Franklin has the most powerful snooter in the world. We found that out when we went out Christmas shopping very early on Sunday morning.
We came back at 9am and found the entire package of dog cookies consumed (there are 39) except for THREE.
The package was torn open on the rug near the Christmas tree and Franklin scurried to his bed when we opened the door.
Dolly (our Weimaraner) came and greeted us with wagging tail, so although we're sure she enjoyed some cookies, she would've had her ears down if she did it (she, like Franklin, knows right from wrong).
Franklin sat almost defiantly on his bed as we came in an inspected the cookie thievery. Our foster dog, Sprite was in his crate, so he was innocent.
We've now moved all of the dogs' treats and toys onto a table near the Christmas tree....
