London’s River Thames is the ever-present life-blood for millions of its citizens. But what the city’s residents may not know is that the tide is always revealing little hints of London’s previous inhabitants. Individuals called ’mudlarks’ have special permission to search the river’s shorelines for old objects - lost to the river and to time, but each giving a clue to who once lived in the city.
