How Federal Taxes Really work in Red vs. Blue States

The smaller number = more dependent upon Fed. Gov't funds. Cr: Wallet Hub
We just got an interesting education about how federal taxes work and which states take the MOST Federal taxes in red (Republican) vs. blue (Democratic) states.

Based on data compiled by the
Pew Charitable Trust  in 2016 Red states that want "less gov't" are reaping double the benefits from the gov't than Blue states.
That's because blue states tend to be more educated, higher wages, better off economically and have more healthy people.
So, by the pres.elect cutting taxes, the Red states will suffer the most (they basically voted for their own financial hardship/pain).

HERE'S HOW FEDERAL TAXES WORK IN BLUE STATES:
The study found that 10 states that receive less than a dollar back for every dollar they send to Washington: Delaware, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island.

HERE'S HOW FEDERAL TAXES WORK IN RED STATES:
And here are the states that get more than $2 back for every $1 in taxes paid: Mississippi, New Mexico, West Virginia, Hawaii, South Carolina, Alabama, Maine, Montana, Alaska, Virginia, Arizona, Idaho, Kentucky and Vermont.

CONCLUSION:
The study basically says that the Democratic-voting states are SUPPORTING the poor Republican-voting states. Red state voters may talk a good game about small government and low taxes, but in reality they are socialist moochers.
