WTH is "Woke" ? Florida and Idaho cite the word to Censor Michaelangelo and Tampons

Some idiot Republican came up with the word "Woke" that the Republicans continue to use to censor every day things, like art and feminine hygiene products.   Those are indeed the cases with Florida and Idaho. Anyone that says the word "Woke" is simply an uneducated Moron. Here are the 2 recent examples:

1)  FLORIDA PRINCIPAL OUT AFTER MICHELANGELO'S ‘DAVID’ UPSETS PARENTS

A Florida principal was forced to resign after parents complained their sixth-grade children were shown images of Michelangelo’s “David” sculpture. One parent reportedly called the famed artwork "pornographic."  The idiots who called for the principal's firing said "“They didn’t like the woke indoctrination that was going on.”

2) IDAHO GOP SAYS FREE TAMPONS TOO ‘WOKE’ An Idaho bill meant to provide students with free feminine hygiene products in schools failed after Republicans slammed it as too “woke.” “This bill is a very liberal policy, and it’s really turning Idaho into a bigger nanny state than ever,” state Rep. Heather Scott (R) said.

50% of Floridians Need to Get a COVID Vaccine: Nightmare Inside a Jacksonville, Florida Library Converted To A Covid-19 Treatment Site

I really, really despise selfish people. Those are the people who have refused to get a vaccine against COVID19, not only to save themselves, but their friends, relatives, neighbors and everyone they come in contact with. Today, news from Jacksonville, Florida is horrendous. COVID19 victims are writhing in pain, shivering, vomiting with horrible aches and more. Don't be Stupid.  GET THE VACCINE or  face the nightmare.  How Many More have to Die?  Here's an abbreviated version of the story:

Nightmare Inside a Jacksonville, Florida Library Converted To A Covid-19 Treatment Site

Mercury News, Sept. 3, 2021

They SHOULD have been vaccinated. They opted not to, and created a nightmare come to life.

The scene at the Jacksonville main public library was haunting, Louis Lopez recalled. As he waited for a Covid-19 monoclonal antibody treatment, he saw people so sick they couldn't even stand. "These people were in bad, bad shape," he said.  Libraries are normally places of solitude and silence. On Wednesday, however, Lopez described a persistent sound of crying and pained moans from some of those seeking treatment. One woman in line was so sick that she couldn't even stand, Lopez said. Because she couldn't stand, he said she crawled over to the wall.  "That's when I actually thought, 'This thing, when I read that this thing kills,'" he said. "If you die because of Covid, not only are you going to be alone, you're going to be in a lot of pain. It really illustrated that for me."  Story:  https://www.mercurynews.com/2021/08/20/these-people-were-in-bad-bad-shape-a-look-inside-of-a-florida-library-converted-to-a-covid-19-treatment-site/

Idiots of the Week: Some Hispanic pastors and Catholic Bishops - Call COVID Vaccine "Mark of the Devil"

The stupidity is astounding. What is it that people don't get about a DEADLY Pandemic?  Over 500,000 Americans have died from COVID19.  But Bishops of the U.S. Catholic Church are telling people NOT to take the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. How uncaring and ignorant. Further, some Hispanic pastors in Miami are being irresponsible about people's health and endangering their congregations and those they associate with. Some pastors are calling COVID19 vaccines the "Mark of the Devil." They are  dangerous. One of these fools is Albert Ixchu, founding pastor of the Iglesia Fraternidad de Fe - the Church of the Brotherhood of Faith. Here are 4 reasons to ponder:

Here's the news about the Catholic Bishops "CATHOLICS URGED TO SHUN J&J VACCINE" The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has asked American Catholics to avoid Johnson & Johnson’s new COVID-19 vaccine if possible because researchers used stem cells distantly linked to two abortions decades ago. The bishops’ declaration could affect vaccine distribution, since many churches serve as vaccination centers.

First, people should listen to doctors and scientists and never listen to religions about science. Throughout history, religions have proven they know nothing about science. Most recently, look at all of the preachers who held in-person church services through COVID19, caught the virus and died. Quite a number of them.

Second, these pastors are scaring the hell out of people from getting a vaccine or telling them Not to get one.. Vaccines will save their lives and the lives of everyone that comes in contact with them.

Third, these pastors and Bishops MUST be jailed. They are a danger to the public through stupidity and false information used to scare people and prevent the country from finally getting a stronghold on COVID19.

Finally, these pastors and Bishops need to walk into a COVID19 hospital ward and get infected themselves. Once they or their loved ones suffer and even pass, then they'll likely stop the stupidity. You would think they would have learned from all of the dead pastors who defied doctors and held in-person church services  when told not to have mass gatherings.

Here's the short story about the Miami Pastors; The Miami Herald reported on Feb. 11:

‘Mark of the devil’: Some Hispanic pastors contribute to vaccine skepticism in Miami

A pastor at a Hispanic church in Homestead raised concerns about the implications of getting vaccinated against COVID-19, warning his congregation about the “mark of the beast” and the specter of a “satanic, totalitarian” government coming to power.

Albert Ixchu, founding pastor of the Iglesia Fraternidad de Fe - the Church of the Brotherhood of Faith - spoke during a Sunday sermon on January 17th, a streamed video of the Spanish-language church service shows.

Ixchu is just one of several pastors in evangelical churches in Miami-Dade County who share their skepticism about the vaccine and continue to minimize the risk of the pandemic, even though the winter months in South Florida have seen cases rise. And some proponents fear that pastor rhetoric - part of a wider trend of misinformation about the vaccine in Latin American churches - could lead to lower vaccination rates.

A former Fraternidad de Fe parishioner who asked to remain anonymous because he has relatives who are heavily involved in the Church told the Herald that the pastor's claims regarding the vaccine will "create some dangerous situations" .

Idiot of the Week: 15 Year Senator Doesn't Understand Puerto Rico and Elections (I Bet a 5th Grader Does!)

Last week's idiot of the week was newly elected to the U.S. Senate from Alabama, and he didn't know history or politics. This week's idiot is a U.S. Senator who has been in office for the last 15 years (elected from Texas) doesn't know about and he doesn't know that residents of Puerto Rico don't have the ability to vote for the U.S. President (because it's a territory).  I bet your 5th grader would know that!

FACT: Residents of Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories do not have voting representation in the United States Congress, and are not entitled to electoral votes for president. ... Like other territories, Puerto Rico can participate in the presidential primary process.

Senator John Cornyn roasted over Puerto Rico election tweet

Newly re-elected U.S. Senator John Cornyn faced swift criticism Thursday (Nov. 12) over a tweet he shared about claims of uncounted votes a week after the election in Puerto Rico.

"Another example of why it is prudent to let the process run its course: Thousands of Uncounted Votes Found a Week After Election in Puerto Rico," Cornyn wrote.

Puerto Ricans don't get to vote for president, and the territory doesn't send members to Congress. Reaction from Twitter users was swift and pointed.

"OK I'm missing something here. You do know Puerto Rico doesn't vote in presidential elections?" one user wrote.

"HELLO SENATOR, Google is a great tool. You should use it," another tweeted. Cornyn wrote the tweet in response to a New York Times story on local elections in the United States territory. Cornyn later tweeted a clarification. "Neither the story or my comments are limited to presidential elections," the Senator wrote, but didn't explain what he meant.

Part 2: Stupid Things People Say or Do in Public

Last week, we published a collection of three really stupid things that people said either on social media or in public. Since there are so many fools out there, it's important to know who they are, so we can put them back under the rocks they've crawled out of. Here are a couple of new examples!

1)  "Childbirth resulting from rape is "beautiful."
A state lawmaker in West Virginia said on Thursday that while rape is horrible, it’s “beautiful” that a child could be produced in the attack.
According to Huffington Post, Charleston Gazette reporter David Gutman was on the scene when Delegate Brian Kurcaba (R) said, “Obviously rape is awful,” but “What is beautiful is the child that could come from this.”
Kurcaba made the remarks during a House of Delegates discussion of a law outlawing all abortions in the state after 20 weeks’ gestation. At 20 weeks, anti-choice activists and lawmakers allege, a fetus can feel pain and is therefore too viable to abort.   Here's the story from the Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/05/brian-kurcaba-rape_n_6626794.html

2) With an Apology, News Anchor Brian Williams Digs Himself Deeper in Copter Tale (Why would he say this?)
In his apology, Mr. Williams said that he had been on a different helicopter, behind the one that had sustained fire, and that he had inadvertently “conflated” the two.  STORY: http://tinyurl.com/ptjfbb8

3)  Indiana Senate Says Yes To Faith-Based Hiring By State Contractors (Legislating discrimination against all other faiths and non-faiths)
On Tuesday, the Indiana state Senate voted 39-11 in favor of a bill to explicitly permit religious discrimination in hiring by some organizations that contract with the state. Under the legislation, which would amend non-discrimination rules for state contractors, such organizations could "give a preference in employment" to people of a particular faith. They could also require all employees to "conform to the religious tenets of the organization."  The bill appears to be confined to state contractors with strong religious ties, such as certain schools and hospitals. State Sen. Travis Holdman (R), who wrote the measure, pointed in particular to Indiana Wesleyan University, an evangelical Christian institution, according to The Indianapolis Star.
