Awesome Book! The Tale of Halcyon Crane by Wendy Webb

 If you want to read a great book that has mystery, ghosts, a witch, great characters and a story that will keep you reading, pick up "The Tale of Halcyon Crane," by Wendy Webb. In the same genre of paranormal thrillers as Darcy Coates (whom I also love), this book was so, so hard to put down. I read it in line at the grocery store, at the gas pump, in the car (I wasn't driving)- it is THAT GOOD. **BONUS- a link to a short interview with the author about how she came to write the book. Great Paranomal Mystery: The Haunted Heart: Winter by Josh Lanyon

Recently I (Rob) finished reading a well-done paranormal mystery that involved 2 gay characters called "The Haunted Heart: Winter" by Josh Lanyon. After reading the free excerpt on Kindle and enjoying it, I bought the book.  I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I had a hard time putting it down.
The characters were intriguing and the mystery and ghost story was well done.  As a paranormal investigator myself , I really enjoyed how the characters wanted to solve the mystery.
 Looking forward to reading much more from this author.

Fun Paranormal Mystery: The Ghost and the Dead Man's Library

There's a paperback series that combines two of my interests: Mysteries and the Paranormal. It's written by
Alice Kimberely. I just finished reading " The Ghost and the Dead Man's Library" and went on line and ordered the others in the series.
   Penelope McClure helps solve mysteries with the assistance of the ghost of P.I. named Jack, that only she can hear in her head (as long as she keeps his buffalo nickel in her pocket).It's a great story, with twists and turns, and will keep you guessing who the murderer is. The characters are great, and all have distinct personalities.
  I highly recommend this book!
(Of course, being a medium, I can hear ghosts and spirits, too - so I could really relate to the characters.)  - Rob
